Home Page
The Powerway On Demand (PoD) Home Page is the personal information center for your Supplier Community, answering the questions: What do I need to do? When is it due ? What has changed ?
If you are looking for specific information, PoD's full text search feature can help you find it quickly.
Projects
A Powerway On Demand (PoD) project contains all of the requirements of the APQP Process for a specific part. Gates are used to model the phases of APQP, and help you quickly assess a project's status.
A project's Task schedule and actual dates, Task Status (In Process, Rejected, Waiting Approval), Task Opinions (Customer and Supplier), and Issues are presented to you in one place, allowing you to spend your time analyzing the data instead of collecting it.
Documents
Documents such as PFMEA's, Controls Plan's and Process Flow Charts are all key pieces of evidence that the APQP process is being managed effectively by the supplier. Over the course of a 2 year project, documents become scattered or lost. Powerway On Demand (PoD) provides an online folder of documents for each project.
With PoD's Document Control, revision control, document viewing, and secure storage and access are built right in.
Reports
With Powerway On Demand's (PoD) built in reporting, you can quickly assess where your problems are, and who is responsible for fixing them.
APQP status status can be summarized a variety of ways (Supplier, Program, Part, Gate). Your suppliers will have access to the same information, for the projects and programs they are involved in.
Teams
You need to know more than where a part was sourced. If problems occur, you may need to contact the Process Engineer at the Supplier that is assigned to your part. The Powerway On Demand (PoD) project team ties together all the people, from multiple organizations and locations, that are involved a process.
Role based responsibility means that people can come and go throughout the life of the project, but someone is always assigned to get a task done.
Issues
Problems during the development of complex products will always occur. The key is to find them early and fix them before they impact the project. Powerway On Demand's (PoD) Issue Management feature lets you and your Suppliers raise issues early, determine root cause, and implement the solution.
Issue Management supports a standard problem resolution workflow, capturing both the original problem and the solution. Responsible parties are immediately assigned based upon their role on the project team, and due dates and workflow steps are integrated into your To-Do list and Alert In Box.
