Course Mission

The mission of the Powerway SPC course is to provide the student with the developmental tools and concepts needed to configure the structure of the Powerway SPC product. This class will cover SPC administration, product configuration, data collection, monitoring data collection via alarm groups, and generating reports. Click here for a .PDF.

Prerequisites

You should have the following skills and/or knowledge: Keyboard skills and basic Microsoft Windows experience.

Complete an exercise for analyzing the process
Configure Users and Groups in Powerway Desktop and assign SPC-related privileges
Configure products for data collection, including traceability
Learn advanced Features of Characteristic Configuration
Collect Data and its associated traceability
Analyze current and historical data through charts and reports
Configure Math Constructions on Characteristics
Verify process status through Alarms
Delete and Copy product configurations
Complete a final exercise that checks understanding of all functions learned
